Recurring coaching

How recurring coaching works

Fitsylvania subscriptions are built for trainers who sell continuity, not only one-off sessions.

Recurring coaching matches how many online trainers actually sell support.
Clients subscribe through Fitsylvania and stay in one coaching hub.
Renewals, payout visibility, plan terms, and moderation stay inside the platform.

1

What a recurring coaching plan is

A recurring coaching plan is a trainer-defined weekly or monthly offer sold through Fitsylvania. It can represent ongoing support, accountability, hybrid live coaching, or another repeated coaching relationship that should not feel like a one-off booking every time.

This matters because many online trainers naturally sell monthly coaching packages rather than only individual calls. Fitsylvania should fit that business model instead of fighting it.

2

How billing works

The client subscribes through Fitsylvania using Stripe. Each successful billing cycle is recorded, the trainer share is posted into the wallet pipeline, and both sides receive update notifications and email confirmation.

Subscription charges follow the same per-pair rule as sessions: the 20% marketplace fee applies only on the first marketplace-attributable charge for a given (client, trainer) pair. Renewals and direct-link relationships are fee-free. Card processing is deducted from trainer proceeds on each charge. (Courses are separate - every course sale carries the 20% fee.)

  • Trainer listed price stays visible. Clients pay the listed plan price at checkout.
  • The trainer wallet records each successful billing cycle as its own ledger entry.
  • The marketplace fee, when it applies, is deducted from the trainer net inside the wallet - never added on top of what the client pays.
3

Your plan terms control the relationship details

Fitsylvania applies one default so clients always know where they stand: if a client cancels an included session at least 24 hours ahead, the session is returned and they can re-book it that period; cancelling later or not showing up uses the session. Sessions you cancel are always returned to the client.

Beyond that default, the rest is yours. Your plan terms can set rescheduling rules, notice periods, and delivery boundaries, and you can always offer a make-up session or waive a missed one as goodwill. Clients accept those terms before they subscribe.

  • Default: cancel 24h+ ahead keeps the session; later cancellations or no-shows use it.
  • Set any extra rules clearly before publishing the plan.
  • Fitsylvania may still review a plan where legal rights, fraud, or trainer non-delivery are involved.
4

Where Fitsylvania steps in

The platform normally steps in when the trainer materially fails to deliver what was sold, repeatedly no-shows, or a dispute escalates into a support or moderation review.

This means recurring coaching remains trainer-led, but the trust layer stays in place when a delivery failure or platform-level dispute needs intervention.

  • Trainer-cancelled included sessions can reopen one session slot for the client inside the current period.
  • Included course access is handled automatically by the platform.
  • Refund or credit reviews remain possible when trainer fault, fraud, or platform failure are involved.
5

Why recurring coaching matters strategically

Subscriptions make Fitsylvania more useful as a coaching operating system. The more a trainer's real delivery model runs inside the platform, the less attractive it is to move the relationship into a patchwork of external tools.

For clients, subscriptions turn the dashboard into a coaching hub instead of a simple booking account. That continuity is one of the clearest ways to increase retention for both sides.
