Clients pay the listed price (VAT, where it applies, is added on top at checkout and never changes trainer net). Session and plan fees are clamped $7.00–$50.00 USD. Card processing is estimated at typical USD rates (2.9% + $0.30) and deducted from trainer proceeds; the settled fee is recorded in the wallet ledger.

- The platform fee is 20%, charged once per product class for each trainer-and-client pair. Booking, coaching plan, and course are independent classes, so the first commissioned session and the first commissioned plan charge are each 20% on their own.
- Session and plan fees are clamped to a per-currency floor and cap: floor GBP 6, USD 7, EUR 7, CAD 7; cap GBP 40, USD 50, EUR 45, CAD 50.
- Courses always carry the 20% fee on every sale, with no floor and no cap.
- Repeat transactions of the same class are fee-free, and clients a trainer brings through their own Fitsylvania direct link are 0% forever. A full refund re-arms the first-time fee.
- Clients pay the trainer's listed price with no platform fee added on top. The 20% is deducted from the trainer. Where a checkout total is shown, local VAT may be added on top where applicable.
- The trainer always covers the Stripe processing fee on every transaction, so trainer net equals gross minus platform fee minus Stripe fee.

Can I try a trainer before I pay?
Yes. Most trainers offer a free 15-minute video intro call, once per trainer, so you can check the fit before you pay. No card is charged.
When does Fitsylvania take a fee?
On the first booking and the first coaching-plan charge with a given trainer. The session and plan fee is floored and capped per currency (GBP 6 to 40, USD 7 to 50, EUR 7 to 45, CAD 7 to 50); courses always carry the 20% with no cap.
Are repeat and direct-link bookings really fee-free?
Yes. Repeat transactions and a trainer's own direct-link clients are 0%, so renewals carry no platform fee. A full refund re-arms the first-time fee.
Do you add any fees at checkout?
You pay the trainer's listed price; the platform fee is deducted from the trainer, never added on top. Local VAT or sales tax may be added on top only where it applies to your country.
How do refunds and cancellations work?
Cancel a session at least 24 hours before it starts for a refund to your original payment method. The non-refundable card processing fee is deducted when you cancel by choice, and the exact refund is shown before you confirm. You can also request a refund within 48 hours after a session ends. Courses have a 14-day refund window while unopened.
